What Happens During Gynecomastia Surgery

Gynecomastia surgery is carried out under local anaesthesia. The entire procedure takes approximately 2 hours, and you can return home the same day.  

During the procedure, we make a small incision around the nipple and performs liposuction, excision, or both.  

LIPOSUCTION: During the procedure, we vacuum the fat out of the breast to reduce the size. Dr Nurein uses VASER liposuction, which is the gold standard in the liposuction industry and a safer alternative to traditional liposuction.  

EXCISION: This technique is used if we need to remove the enlarged glandular tissue or remove the excess skin.
